The Compensation and Benefits Officer (Supervisory) oversees the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. This role supervises the preparation of career advancement documentation, manages employee benefits enrollment, and resolves payroll issues. The officer provides guidance on complex payroll matters, monitors team performance, and drives process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. By ensuring effective management and compliance of compensation & benefits programs and supporting team development, this role helps maintain a compliant, efficient, and employee-focused compensation and benefits function that contributes to overall organizational success.
Supervise benefits administration, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Lead the resolution of complex payroll issues, manage benefits enrollments, and oversee cost management strategies. Coordinate with auditors, and guide team members on HR policies. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide strategic reporting to support informed decision-making.
Overseeing the accurate collection and filing of employee documents to ensure regulatory compliance. Ensures that all employees are enrolled and covered with the Group Medical Insurance and with the Group Life and Accident Insurance. Monitor team performance, ensure adherence to policies, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. Foster continuous development and compliance within the compensation and benefits function.
Adhere to the company's code of conduct and model mission, vision, and values. Participate in continuous development and mandatory training (e.g., risk management, health and safety). Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Supervise the preparation and processing of employee movement and career advancement documentation. Oversee the accurate and timely transmittal of these documents to relevant departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maintaining smooth operations. Provide guidance to team members in managing these processes and resolving issues.
Performance Management: Manage and drive high performance among direct reports, and help them achieve their performance goals. This also includes conducting performance evaluations.
Coaching and Mentoring: Provide guidance to direct reports in performing their areas of responsibility, and support their growth and development.
Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives and provide a work environment that will promote employee engagement and high commitment to the company.
Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Human Resources, Behavioral Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related fields of discipline.
At least two (2) to three (3) years of related HR work experience; minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory role
Strong communicator with technical knowledge in SAP and timekeeping systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Detail-oriented, efficient, and skilled in prioritizing tasks.
Builds effective relationships, anticipates customer needs, and ensures satisfaction.
Upholds data protection, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
Strong interpersonal skills with a solid understanding of statutory requirements.
