Entech Philippines is seeking a Manager, Compensation and Benefits to oversee pay and benefits processes and ensure compliant reporting.
The role builds fair compensation plans, drives salary structures across the group, and leads a team of HR professionals to deliver accurate payroll and benefits administration.
You will implement governance, stay updated on regulations, and collaborate with business leaders to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity.
The Manager, Compensation and Benefits is responsible for ensuring an efficient implementation of pay and benefits processes as well as adherence in reportorial requirements.
The role is assigned to build fair and attractive compensation and benefits plans that help us improve employee satisfaction and create a productive workplace.
Maintains payroll information by ensuring accurate input of employee pay data in reports and in the system.
Updates payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/company transfers
Prepares for and processes the bank files for salary credit
Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages
Ensures accuracy and timeliness of submission of reportorial requirements such as but not limited to SSS, HDMF, Philhealth and the BIR
Balances the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies
Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests
Maintains payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures
Keeps abreast and up to date on payroll/pay and benefit-impacting government regulations
Ensures effective implementation of both government and company benefits administration
Designs and implements remuneration and rewards programs
Maintains and standardize employee benefits and compensation programs together with the HR Business Partners
Initiates and drives the standardization of pay and benefits, and continuously stays up to date on the current trends in the market
Establishes salary scales and pay grades across the group of companies and continuously benchmarks to identify market competitiveness and pay position strategy
Plan, negotiate, and assess budget of HMO contracts and other insurance benefits
Ensures legal and sound practices in all Pay and Benefit policies and programs
Implements Occupational Health and Wellness Programs as well as ensure compliance to regulations with regards to health and safety
Participates in new projects implementations and functionality uptake; seeing projects through the full lifecycle and perform functions related to requirements gathering, configuration, testing, UAT and post-production support
Adheres to established budgetary guidelines
Ensures that all government obligations are adhered to
Leads a team through providing guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR activities and ensures that the team is able to carry them out effectively and timely
Ensures that the entire team is informed and updated on key business and organizational issues
Works closely with the Business Leaders and provides guidance, coaching and support on the full range of HR operations activities and ensures that leaders are able to understand and adhere to processes that enhance employee experience and engagement
Promotes and leads a healthy, aggressive, dynamic, and energetic group of Team Members
Upholds and is a gatekeeper of ensuring the different processes and interventions are means to ensure alignment and strengthen the core values
At least 5 years of experience as Payroll/Compensation & Benefits with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity
Strong knowledge and exposure in Compensation & Benefits, Payroll administration
Good communication skills
Has experience in mentoring and coaching
Preferably has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Organizational Communication or a related field
