Job summary

Allegro MicroSystems is seeking a Company Nurse in Parañaque, Philippines. You will lead the health program strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and act as a key health advisor to support a safe, healthy and productive workforce for a global technology company.

You will administer first aid, perform initial medical assessments, and collaborate with the company physician and NEOP to promote wellness across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing with valid license.
• OSH certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Health Program Management & Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive health programs compliant with health and legal standards.
• Compliance & Reporting: Prepare health objectives for audits and submit required occupational health reports.
• Clinical Care & Employee Support: Administer First Aid and conduct initial medical assessments; support new employee orientation; coordinate with City Hall for new hires.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Health Program Management & Strategy:
  • Develop and implement the organization's comprehensive health program in compliance with all health and legal standards.
  • Conduct surveillance of worker's health based on medical records, analyze its implications, and recommend appropriate administrative actions.
  • Customize and implement health awareness campaigns based on emerging diseases and national health concerns.
  • Periodically coordinate with government agencies on new regulations and recommend updates to company health policies.
  • Optimize the section's budget by sourcing free resources, medicines, and vaccines.
• Compliance & Reporting:
  • Present health objectives and plans during internal and external audits.
  • Consolidate and submit required occupational health and safety reports to DOLE and the Bureau of Working Conditions.
  • Generate all necessary reports and documentation related to Clinic Services.
• Clinical Care & Employee Support:
  • Administer First Aid treatment to employees for ailments and accidents.
  • Conduct initial medical assessments (patient interviews, vital signs) before consultations with the company physician.
  • Act as a resource speaker during the New Employee Orientation Program (NEOP).
  • Facilitate the registration of new hires with the City Hall.

Who You Are (Qualifications/Desired Skills)

• Education & Licensure: You hold a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and have a valid professional license.
• Certification: You preferably have an OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) certification, though it is not a strict requirement.
• Skills:
  • You are proficient in MS Office applications.
  • You have strong skills in patient care and understand health delivery systems.
  • You can communicate effectively in English
