About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Company Nurse to join the team at WERCHER SOLUTIONS AND RESOURCES LABOR SERVICE COOPERATIVE. This is a full-time position based in Antipolo City, Rizal. As Company Nurse, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of our workforce across our construction management operations. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health services, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and creating a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and site personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Provide immediate first aid and emergency medical treatment to employees and workers on construction sites and company premises
• Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations for all employees in accordance with occupational health standards
• Develop and implement health and safety programmes and initiatives aligned with construction industry regulations
• Monitor and maintain occupational health records, vaccination certificates, and medical documentation for all workers
• Conduct health education sessions and training programmes on workplace safety, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Identify and assess occupational health hazards on construction sites and recommend preventative measures
• Collaborate with site supervisors and management to ensure compliance with workplace health regulations and standards
• Respond to workplace injuries and illnesses, documenting incidents and preparing detailed incident reports
• Maintain and manage medical supplies, equipment, and the company clinic or health facility
• Coordinate with external healthcare providers, hospitals, and occupational health specialists when necessary
• Conduct regular health surveillance and promote wellness initiatives within the organisation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing qualification from a recognised institution
• Current and valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) nursing license in the Philippines
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in occupational health nursing or industrial health services
• Strong knowledge of occupational safety and health (OSH) regulations and standards applicable to the construction industry
• Proficiency in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and emergency medical response
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with workers at all levels
• Strong organisational and record-keeping abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions in high-pressure situations
• Knowledge of construction site hazards and associated health risks is highly desirable
• Computer literacy and proficiency with health information management systems
• Physical capability to perform duties on construction sites and in varied environmental conditions
