Krah Pipes Manila, Inc. is seeking a Company Nurse to deliver occupational health services within Plant and Project Sites. The role collaborates with the EHS team, HR, and management to promote employee wellness, manage injuries, and ensure compliance with health standards.
The ideal candidate holds a BS Nursing degree, RN license, and BOSH-OHNAP certificate, with experience in first aid and health record management. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
The Company Nurse is responsible for providing occupational health and nursing services while supporting the company’s Environmental Health Safety programs in Plant and Project Sites as required by the Supervisor. The role focuses on promoting employee health and wellness, managing workplace injuries and illnesses, conducting health assessments, maintaining medical records, and assisting in the implementation of occupational health and safety initiatives. The Company Nurse also works closely with the EHS team, HR, and management to ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety requirements and to foster a safe and healthy workplace.
Assist the EHS Department in developing and implementing EHS Programs for Plant and Project sites if necessary.
Conduct regular exercise during toolbox meetings and other related programs.
Provide immediate first aid and basic medical care to employees who experience workplace injuries, illnesses, or medical emergencies in Plant and/or Project sites.
Conduct initial assessment, triage, and appropriate referral of employees requiring further medical evaluation or treatment.
Manage and maintain accurate and confidential employee medical and occupational health records.
Monitor and document workplace injuries, illnesses, and medical incidents, and assist in preparing required reports and documentation.
Conduct routine health assessments, health monitoring, and other occupational health activities as required.
Assist in the implementation of occupational health programs, including health surveillance, medical screening, wellness initiatives, and disease prevention programs in Plant and/or Project sites.
Support the company's Emergency Response and Incident Management activities, including emergency preparedness, first aid response, and medical assistance during drills and actual emergencies.
Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, physicians, and other healthcare providers when employees require external medical treatment or referral.
Assist in the management and monitoring of work-related injuries and illnesses, including follow-up of employees' medical status and fitness to work.
Participate in workplace inspections and hazard identification activities, particularly those involving health and ergonomic risks.
Support the EHS team in implementing programs related to occupational health, workplace hygiene, ergonomics, employee wellness, environmental concern, and safety activities.
Assist in the investigation and documentation of workplace accidents and incidents from an occupational health and medical perspective.
Provide health education, first aid awareness, and basic health and wellness information to employees.
Assist in organizing and conducting health-related training, seminars, and awareness campaigns.
Monitor and maintain adequate supplies, medicines, medical equipment, and emergency response materials in the company clinic and first aid stations.
Ensure proper housekeeping, sanitation, infection control, and safe practices within the company clinic.
Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable occupational health, safety, and medical regulations and company policies.
Maintain confidentiality of all employee medical information and ensure proper handling and storage of medical records.
Perform other EHS and occupational health-related duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.
BS Nursing graduate and Registered Nurse (RN).
With BOSH-OHNAP Certificate.
At least 1 year of experience as a Company Nurse is preferred; Fresh Graduates are highly encouraged to apply.
Proficient in First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Knowledgeable in patient assessment, triage, and basic nursing care.
Familiar with Philippine Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
Good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Computer literate and knowledgeable in Google Workspace.
Knowledge of SSS and PhilHealth health benefits is an advantage but not required.
Able to maintain confidentiality of employee medical information.
Willing to support EHS programs and work in Plant and Project Sites.
