Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Nurse (OH Nurse) to oversee the health and well-being of workers on our construction project site. The ideal candidate will provide on-site health services, promote health awareness, and ensure compliance with Philippine occupational health standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial health assessments, pre-employment medical examinations, and periodic health checks for construction workers.
• Administer first aid and emergency medical care on-site.
• Monitor workers for signs of occupational illnesses or injuries and facilitate appropriate referrals.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with DOH and DOLE standards.
• Promote health and safety awareness among workers, including vaccination programs, hygiene practices, and disease prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine occupational health and safety regulations, including the Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) of DOLE and RA 11058.
• Assist in incident investigations related to health issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with medical facilities and health authorities for referrals and emergencies.
• Conduct health education sessions and distribute relevant health and safety materials.
• Support the implementation of the company’s health policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license for Registered Nurses.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in occupational health, preferably in construction or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of Philippine Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHS) and related regulations, such as RA 11058.
• Certified in BOSH for Nurses Training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly.
• Familiarity with health record management systems.

Educational & Industry Standards:

• Must comply with the Philippine Nursing Law (RA 7164) and related regulations.
• Knowledge of DOLE Department Order No. 252-25 (Implementing Rules of RA 11058).
• Familiarity with DOH guidelines on occupational health and safety.

Work Environment:

• Will be assigned primarily to the construction site with frequent site visits.
• Must adhere strictly to PPE and safety protocols.
• Will work closely with safety officers, project managers, and other site personnel.
