The nurse for Wright Park Hotel is responsible in assisting the Safety, Security and Transportation Manager in developing and promoting health and safety programs. Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical Assistance:
- 1.Provide medical assistance and emergency treatment or first aid to employees and guests
- 2.Administer over-the-counter medication and treatment to employees and guests, as needed
- 3.Counsel employees relative to their medical concerns or conditions as needed
- 4.Create a clean and comfortable sick bay area
- 5.Promptly and efficiently respond to medical emergencies
- 6.Respond to health and safety queries and complaints of employees and guests and provide appropriate intervention
- 7.Assist the retainer doctor during his/her tour of hotel duty
Health and Safety:
- 8.Establish and maintain health and safety standards of the hotel
- 9.Conduct regular health checks for employees
- 10.Assist the Safety, Security and Transportation Manager in developing, promoting, and implementing Disaster Control Program, Fire Prevention Program, Family Planning Program, Family Welfare Program and other health and safety programs
- 11.Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and practices
- 12.Implement awareness campaigns relative to promoting personal health maintenance, physical fitness, proper nutritional practices and illness prevention
- 13.Maintains cleanliness of the clinic
Record Keeping:
- 14.Maintain confidentiality of employee and guest medical records
- 15.Prepare and submit accurate reports to concerned departments and organizations
- 16.Maintain updated and accurate medical records of employees
- 17.Document all medical incidents, treatments, and referrals
Coordination and Communication:
- 18.Liaise with local hospitals and clinics to arrange for the transfer of patients when necessary
- 19.Communicate with guests and employees about health concerns, providing guidance and support
- 20.Act as the point person for pre-employment medical exams, results, and healthcare provider (such as HMO) related matters
- 21.Act as a custodian of the hotel clinic, including its equipment and supplies
- 22.Maintain medical supplies and request purchases when needed
Qualifications:
- - Registered Nurse (RN)
- - Certified Occupational Health nurse
- - Computer literate
- - Experience in emergency care or occupational health is preferred
- - Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- - Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- - Preferably, resident of Baguio-Benguetor nearby provinces
