Job Title: Occupational Nurse (Hotel-Based)
The Occupational Nurse is responsible for promoting and maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of all hotel employees. This role involves providing immediate medical care, managing health programs, ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health standards, and supporting wellness initiatives within the workplace.
Responsibilities
- Provide first aid and basic medical treatment to employees in case of illness or workplace injury.
- Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical assessments.
- Maintain and update employees’ health records and medical files.
- Assist in implementing the hotel’s Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs in coordination with the Safety Officer and HR.
- Ensure compliance with DOLE and DOH requirements for occupational health standards.
- Monitor and report workplace accidents, illnesses, and other health-related incidents.
- Plan and conduct health promotion and wellness activities such as medical check-ups, vaccination drives, and health awareness campaigns.
- Educate employees on occupational health and hygiene practices.
- Maintain medical supplies, equipment, and clinic cleanliness.
- Prepare and submit health and safety reports to management and regulatory agencies as required.
- Coordinate with partner clinics, hospitals, and government health offices when necessary.
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the Philippines
- With Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) for Nurses training (preferred)
- At least 1–2 years of experience in occupational health, preferably in a hospitality or service industry
- Knowledgeable in DOLE and DOH occupational health standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
