Job Summary
The Company Nurse provides occupational health support, first aid, health monitoring, emergency assistance, medical referrals, and employee wellness support for Head Office and Terminal-based employees. The role also coordinates with hospitals, clinics, HMO providers, and the Company Physician.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first aid, basic nursing assessment, and immediate medical assistance to employees.
Conduct BP monitoring and maintain accurate health and clinic records.
Respond to workplace medical emergencies and coordinate hospital referrals and emergency transport.
Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, pharmacies, and other healthcare providers.
Assist employees with HMO, insurance, medical referrals, LOAs, and healthcare benefit requirements.
Maintain confidential medical records, clinic logs, and occupational health reports.
Monitor first-aid kits, medical supplies, and nursing equipment.
Support health screenings, annual physical examinations, vaccination programs, and wellness initiatives.
Coordinate employee medical cases and follow-up care with the Company Physician.
Conduct scheduled health monitoring and visits to Terminal-based facilities as assigned.
Support workplace health and safety activities, emergency preparedness, and incident documentation.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid Philippine nursing license.
Preferably with experience in occupational health, company clinic, hospital, industrial, or corporate nursing.
Training or experience in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or occupational health nursing is an advantage.
Must have valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or First Aid certification.
Experience in emergency response and hospital coordination is an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Organized and capable of handling confidential medical records.
Able to coordinate effectively with employees, HR, supervisors, healthcare providers, and HMO/insurance representatives.
Willing to travel or report to Terminal-based facilities when required.
