Job summary

Maya is building an all‑in‑one money platform in the Philippines and seeks a finance professional who can partner with senior leadership to drive financial performance. You will conduct multi‑dimensional analyses, validate business cases, and support ROI through robust modelling and scenario planning.

You will work with business units to forecast, plan budgets, and monitor gross margins, pricing and costs, ensuring disciplined financial controls and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modelling and scenario planning abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of bank products.
• Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis.
• Attention to detail with strong analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive finance business partnering to understand drivers of performance for senior management.
• Support BU decisions with multi-dimensional financial analyses and ROI evaluations.
• Ensure viability of business cases and promotions through pre- and post-evaluation.
• Perform channel/P&L analysis and financial modelling for management.
• Support forecasting and budgeting with market, pricing and initiative analyses.
• Drive gross margin and operating expense management via ROI-focused pillars.
• Collaborate with BU leadership to prepare plans and forecasts.
• Track forecast accuracy and maintain proactive improvement culture.
• Implement commercial controls for sales-related processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drive finance business partnering which enhances the understanding of the senior management teams of their key financial performance drivers and business performance issues
• Support the Business Units (BU) to make timely, strategically aligned, and value‑maximizing decisions through multi‑dimensional analysis within relevant financial and operational business scenarios
• Ensure viability of business cases and promotions. Drive ROI culture through robust pre‑ and post‑business case evaluation
• Perform and provide channel/use case P&L analysis to management and BUs (financial modelling and scenario analysis).
• Perform growth analysis to support forecast and ongoing business performance - market, pricing, volume and initiatives
• Drive gross margin enhancement through net revenue management pillars (pricing, active mix, trade spend & business case management)
• Drive profit through use of financial principles and managing operating expenses with budget owners
• Work with BU leadership teams in the preparation of plans/budgets/forecasts and ensure alignment with management expectations
• Track forecast accuracy and build culture of proactivity and continuous improvement
• Ensure commercial controls are in place for sales‑related processes
• Implement management monitoring and compliance on commercial terms
• Conduct commercial analysis to pinpoint issues to management team to help drive action plans including business opportunities, risk and mitigation plans
• Lead financial evaluation of significant business opportunities to provide a long‑term perspective of the impact on business profitability
• Provide business environment/ competitor analysis (at product level) to the BUs and senior management teams.
