Job summary

Boomering inc is seeking an Estimator to join our team and support commercial project delivery. You will analyze blueprints, materials, and labor needs, prepare detailed cost estimates, and manage procurement costs across multiple projects.

Collaborating with project managers, architects, and suppliers, you will negotiate bids, track variations, and maintain accurate commercial records for audit and reporting purposes. The role requires independence and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills; ability to interpret drawings and specs.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather information for estimates.
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and documents to determine material and labor requirements.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals with itemized costs and timelines.
• Evaluate bids and negotiate pricing to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor project costs and identify potential overruns, proposing savings.
