Agent Careers is seeking a Construction Estimator to join a lean general contracting team specializing in retail and restaurant builds. You will own the bid pipeline from takeoffs to bid submission, coordinating with subcontractors, reviewing quotes, and keeping the team informed on deadlines.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, organization, and experience with estimating software, plus the ability to manage multiple bids concurrently.

Qualifications

• 3–10+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Experience with retail, restaurant, tenant improvement, or other small-format commercial projects.
• Fluent English with strong phone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity takeoffs and estimates from drawings and specs.
• Prepare complete bids including scope sheets and proposals.
• Issue RFQs to subcontractors and follow up for bid coverage.
• Make outbound calls to subcontractors and build relationships.
• Collect and compare subcontractor quotations for consistency.
• Track bid status and report progress to leadership.
