About the role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary College Dean (BSN) - SASN Lipa to join our institution in a full-time capacity at our Lipa City Batangas campus. This is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing the School of Applied Sciences and Nursing (SASN) and ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing education. As College Dean, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing academic programs, maintaining accreditation standards, and fostering an environment of excellence and innovation. This position is integral to the college's mission and directly impacts the success of our nursing programs and student outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the School of Applied Sciences and Nursing, including program development, curriculum design, and academic planning

• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance frameworks specific to nursing education

• Oversee the recruitment, development, and performance management of faculty and administrative staff within the college

• Manage budgets, resources, and financial planning to support the effective operation of the college and its programs

• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and academic standards that enhance educational quality and student success

• Foster partnerships with healthcare institutions, clinical sites, and industry stakeholders to support clinical placements and experiential learning

• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in nursing education and student outcomes

• Serve as the primary liaison between the college and senior management, representing the institution in meetings and professional forums

• Support student welfare, mentoring programs, and career development initiatives

• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through assessment, feedback, and data-driven decision-making

What we're looking for

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Education Management, or related field; doctoral qualification preferred

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and current professional registration with relevant regulatory bodies

• Minimum 10 years of experience in nursing practice, education, or healthcare management, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role

• Demonstrated expertise in nursing curriculum development, accreditation processes, and academic program management

• Strong knowledge of nursing education standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in higher education

• Proven track record of strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management in an educational or healthcare setting

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams

• Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, and external relations within the healthcare and education sectors

• Strong commitment to quality assurance, student-centered education, and continuous improvement

• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a dynamic institutional environment

• Knowledge of Philippine nursing education regulations and accreditation standards is highly desirable
