Job summary

Asticom is seeking a detail-oriented Collections Associate to oversee overdue balances and drive timely payments. You will negotiate structured plans, maintain meticulous logs, and coordinate with Sales to resolve billing questions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong communication, and advanced Excel skills (lookups and PivotTables). Experience in accounts receivable is a plus, and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in any 4-year field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel with lookups and PivotTables.
• Demonstrated negotiation and analytical problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to accuracy and thorough documentation.
• Ability to multitask across dynamic portfolios to meet collection goals.
• Prior experience in accounts receivable or collections is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to clients by phone, email, and other channels to recover past-due balances.
• Track assigned accounts to drive timely settlements of invoices.
• Negotiate payment schedules in line with company guidelines.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all collection efforts and agreements.
• Issue invoices, reminders, and detailed account statements as required.
• Collaborate with Sales and other departments to resolve billing questions.
• Generate routine reports on outstanding balances and progress.
• Address invoicing discrepancies and client inquiries professionally.
• Adhere to policies, regulations, and legal standards during collections.
