Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Collections Specialist in Cebu City to manage customer receivables and maintain trusted relationships while ensuring timely payments.

You will actively follow up with US-based clients, issue statements, process credits, and escalate issues as needed. The role requires English fluency, a 4-year degree, and familiarity with SAP B1 or ERP systems. This onsite position offers competitive rewards and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English required for both written and spoken communication.
• Experience collecting from US-based customers is required.
• A 4-year university degree is highly preferred.
• Experience with SAP B1 or ERP systems is a plus.
• Basic accounting knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with assigned customers to ensure prompt collection.
• Issue periodic account statements and engage key customers for collections.
• Call customers with overdue payments and secure the collection.
• Escalate issues promptly and process credits/RMA as needed.
• Identify accounts for insurance claim or collection procedures.

Summary

The Collections Specialist is responsible to contact clients and collect outstanding payments, while striking a balance between maintaining trustful relationships and ensuring timely payments.

Responsibilities

Receivable Collection:

• Actively follow up with assigned customers base to ensure prompt collection
• Actively engage key customers by issuing periodic account statement
• Actively calling customers with overdue payments to secure the collection
• Promptly escalat when encountering issues
• Promptly process RMA/Credits, and address any emerging customer requirements
• Identify accounts for insurance claim or collection procedure

Customer Relationship Management

• Maintain customer database and ensure data accuracy
• Update account status records, and keep active log of collection efforts

Reporting

• Periodically review Account Receivable Aging Reports
• Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status

Other

• Other tasks assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Fluent in both oral and written English
• US customer collection experience is a MUST
• 4-year university degree highly preferred
• Prior SAP B1 or any other ERP system experience is a plus
• Basic accounting knowledge is preferred
