Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced Manager Operations in Collateral Services to lead a hybrid team in Quezon, PH. You will oversee margin call disputes, portfolio reconciliations, and risk-related escalations while ensuring adherence to HSBC policies and strong client service.

Qualifications

Good understanding of financial products, including equity/fixed income OTC derivative, FX products and basic knowledge of ISDA/CSA is a bonus

Responsibilities

Review margin call disputes and portfolio reconciliation breaks to investigate thresholds.
Escalate timely to operations management, front office and risk management teams.
Lead a cohesive team with a people-centric mindset and uphold Group policies and standards.
Monitor team performance, productivity and quality; ensure timely completion within procedures.
Develop realistic strategies and action plans to address performance gaps and staffing needs.
Identify and resolve issues, escalate appropriately to prevent recurrence.
Maintain equipment, systems and work environment in good condition.
Identify ways to improve service, add value and reduce costs in line with business goals.
