Job summary

Makati (Sports) Club, Inc. is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead all aspects of our dining, bar, catering, and kitchen operations at our Makati City location.

You will ensure high service standards, quality, and profitability while maintaining our reputation for excellence and member satisfaction. The role requires strong financial acumen, leadership, and a proven track record in managing large F&B teams within hospitality or club settings.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of experience in food and beverage management within hospitality or club settings.
• Proven track record of managing large food and beverage operations and teams.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and health regulations.
• Excellent financial acumen with budgeting, cost control, and profit management.
• Superior leadership and communication skills with ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Exceptional customer service orientation and member-focused mindset.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Experience in event planning and catering management is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of beverage management, wine selection, and bar operations.
• Proficiency in food and beverage management software and systems.
• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred.
• Certification in Food Safety or HACCP advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily food and beverage operations across restaurants, bars, kitchen, and catering services.
• Oversee menu planning, food quality, presentation, and consistency across venues.
• Supervise and mentor staff to maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Control food and beverage costs, monitor inventory, and implement cost-reduction strategies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts for pricing and quality.
• Plan and execute special events, member functions, and catering operations.
• Monitor member feedback and implement improvements to dining experiences.
• Develop and implement staff training programmes to maintain service excellence.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and performance metrics for senior management.
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance standards across F&B facilities.
