Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated DevOps/SRE professional to join our operations team in the Philippines. You will collaborate across Support, Sales, Development, and Implementation to validate releases and enhance platform stability, administer AWS resources, Windows servers, and SQL Server, and build automation with Terraform, PowerShell, and GitHub.

You will monitor observability with Datadog, support deployments with Octopus Deploy, participate in on-call rotations, and pursue

Qualifications

• Two or more years of professional experience in technical support, systems administration, DevOps, cloud operations, or related role.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience administering Windows Server and familiarity with SQL Server.
• Familiarity with AWS or another major cloud platform.
• Scripting, infrastructure as code, and Git-based source control; PowerShell, Terraform or GitHub preferred.
• Observability/monitoring experience such as Datadog.
• Experience supporting Tyler Enterprise ERP products is preferred.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner or similar certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technical Support, Sales, Development, and Implementation teams to validate releases and improve platform stability.
• Provide operational support for AWS, Windows servers, and SQL Server databases.
• Administer AWS resources, Windows servers, and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Build and maintain automation and IaC using Terraform, PowerShell, and GitHub.
• Improve platform monitoring and observability using Datadog.
• Support deployments and release validation using Octopus Deploy and related delivery tools.
• Troubleshoot operational issues, document solutions, and reduce recurring manual work.
• Participate in the PagerDuty on-call rotation.
• Pursue relevant technical training and certifications.
