Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Taguig is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes workloads across Google Cloud Platform and AWS. You will build reusable deployment templates, enable application teams, and embed security and governance into delivery while collaborating with security and DevSecOps teams.

You will own automation, IaC, and GitOps pipelines, monitor platform health, and help drive platform strategy and developer experience in a fast-paced healthcare

Qualifications

• Three+ years of cloud engineering with Kubernetes exposure.
• Hands-on with GCP/AWS and enterprise CI/CD platforms.
• Experience implementing GitOps and Infrastructure as Code.
• Understanding of DevSecOps, security controls, and compliance.
• Familiarity with Terraform, ArgoCD, Flux, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes environments in GCP/AWS.
• Build cloud platform capabilities using IaC and GitOps.
• Support and optimize CI/CD tooling for reliable deliveries.
• Develop reusable deployment templates and automation frameworks.
• Enable application teams with onboarding and best practices.
• Integrate pipelines with IaC and GitOps for auditable releases.
• Embed security, governance, and compliance into delivery.
• Collaborate with security and DevSecOps teams on vulnerability management.
• Monitor platform performance and lead root cause analyses.
• Establish engineering standards through reviews and docs.
• Implement policy-driven governance and platform guardrails.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
• Produce operational docs, release communications, and guidance materials.
• Stay informed on emerging cloud and platform engineering practices.
