Job summary

Digital Science is seeking a VP of Infrastructure Operations to lead the design, delivery and ongoing optimization of our cloud infrastructure focused on AWS and GCP. You will drive strategy, governance and cross-functional collaboration to enable scalable growth.

Lead DevOps/SRE teams, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and partner with Security to ensure compliance and resiliency across our production services.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership of IT infrastructure with a cloud focus.
• Experience managing multiple cloud operations teams across geographies.
• Expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS) and GCP services (Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine).
• Proven track record in Monitoring, Logging and Alerting.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Terraform).
• Strong communication and collaboration with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and optimisation of cloud infrastructure (AWS & GCP).
• Develop and execute a scalable cloud strategy aligned with business roadmaps.
• Mentor DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure engineers and drive high performance.
• Ensure 24/7/365 operational stability, capacity planning and disaster recovery.
• Oversee security/compliance with ISO 27001/27701 and other frameworks.
• Manage vendor relationships and budget forecasting for infra operations.
