Job summary

PM Consulting is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineering Lead to drive the design, delivery, and governance of enterprise cloud environments across Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role will lead a team of cloud engineers, shape cloud strategy, and ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions aligned with business and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud engineering, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in enterprise environments.
Solid understanding of cloud networking and hybrid connectivity solutions and identity/access management systems.
Experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, ARM templates, or Ansible.
Familiarity with DevOps toolchains (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes).
Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Go, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of cloud engineers and technical specialists.
Define and implement the organization’s cloud roadmap across Azure and OCI.
Partner with architecture, security, and IT leadership for enterprise standards and regulatory compliance.
Promote automation and DevOps best practices, including IaC, to standardize cloud operations.
Design and manage enterprise-scale cloud solutions in Azure and OCI.
Oversee migrations from on-premises systems or other clouds.
Ensure robust configurations for availability, scalability, performance, and disaster recovery.
Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and observability frameworks.
Monitor cloud environments to optimize resource utilization and performance.
Lead incident management and root cause analysis for critical services.
Coordinate with external vendors and MSPs for escalations and improvements.
