Job summary

Vertoz seeks an experienced Senior System Administrator to lead IT & cloud infrastructure initiatives and manage a team of systems engineers. The role requires hands‑on expertise across Linux/Windows, public cloud platforms, IaC, and DevOps, with strong leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.

In this position you will design and maintain scalable cloud architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP, drive security and compliance, and work with Sales to craft cloud solutions for opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years hands‑on IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Ability to lead a team and communicate with cross‑functional groups.
• Exposure to IaC, automation, and security/compliance controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the systems administration team; oversee planning and evaluation.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Collaborate with Sales/Pre‑Sales to develop cloud solutions and respond to RFPs/RFQs.
• Administer Linux and Windows servers; ensure availability, security, and performance.
• Implement IaC and automation using Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, etc.
• Manage containers and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Plan capacity, optimize costs, provision resources, monitor performance.
• Drive security, patching, vulnerability management, and IAM controls.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide escalation support.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and architectural diagrams.
• Manage vendor relations and evaluate new technologies.
• Coordinate DR/BCP and ensure infrastructure resilience.
• Ensure ITIL/standard support processes are followed.
