A leading tech firm is seeking an Infrastructure Lead based in Metro Manila, Makati. This full-time role requires overseeing operational governance across various IT functions, ensuring stability and improvement in infrastructure, particularly within AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of leadership experience in IT infrastructure operations, managing cross-functional teams, and adhering to ITIL processes. This position offers a hybrid work setup with four days on-site and one day remote.

Job description

The Infrastructure Lead serves as the primary accountability point across Infrastructure, Application, Security, and Business teams, ensuring operational activities are aligned with business priorities, risk appetite, and governance standards. This role drives service stability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across the infrastructure landscape, including AWS cloud platforms.

Work Setup: Hybrid – 4 times a week on site, 1 day remote (flexible)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Own operational governance for infrastructure activities, including patching, incident management, change management, and maintenance planning.
• Lead cross-functional coordination between Infrastructure, Applications, Security, and Business stakeholders.
• Manage change planning, maintenance windows, impact assessments, and stakeholder communications before, during, and after execution.
• Drive service stability and reliability, analyzing incidents, problem trends, and operational metrics to reduce outages and improve predictability.
• Ensure ITSM process adherence (Incident, Problem, Change, Release).
• Maintain audit readiness, documentation, and evidence for compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Define and track operational KPIs and SLAs.
• Promote continuous improvement initiatives and run-the-business optimization.
• Support cloud operations governance in AWS and prepare for expansion to other cloud platforms as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in infrastructure operations or service delivery leadership.
• Strong experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and operational governance.
• Experience coordinating cloud and hybrid infrastructure operations (AWS preferred).
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and communicate with business leaders.
• Experience in incident and change management at enterprise scale.
• Strong documentation, audit, and compliance management experience.
