Job summary

KonsultaKa is hiring clinic nurses to support universal primary healthcare under the Yakap program. You will assist patients from registration and assessment through consultation, referral, education, health navigation and follow-up, both online and on-site.

Ideal candidates hold a BSN with a current Philippines PRC license, strong communication, and comfort with electronic records, as you work with physicians, pharmacists, and staff across outreach sites and mobile clinics.

Qualifications

• BSN in Nursing and a current Philippine PRC nursing license (or passer).
• Strong assessment, documentation and patient communication skills.
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and learning program workflows.
• Able to work with physicians, pharmacists, clinic assistants, and administrative staff.
• Willing to join scheduled community or mobile clinic activities when assigned.

Responsibilities

• Conduct triage, take vital signs, obtain patient histories, and identify concerns needing prompt physician attention.
• Assist with First Patient Encounters, health risk assessments, preventive screening, and patient education.
• Prepare patients for physician consultations and carry out nursing care within scope of the role.
• Coordinate laboratory requests, point-of-care testing and monitoring, referrals, medication counselling, and follow-up instructions with the care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and YAKAP service claims documentation.
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, consent, and data privacy procedures.
• Help organize clinic supplies and support orderly patient flow at the clinic and assigned outreach sites.

About the role

The role may include scheduled assignments with KonsultaKa On Wheels.
