Job summary

KonsultaKa Clinic is seeking a physician to provide free continuous universal primary healthcare for patients, including clinic consultations and services through KonsultaKa On Wheels and teleconsultation coordinated with our fixed clinic.

You will manage first patient encounters, preventive care, and chronic disease management, ensuring clear documentation in electronic health records and collaboration with nurses, pharmacists, and administrative staff.

Qualifications

• MD licensed physician (PRC) in the Philippines.
• PhilHealth accreditation under YAKAP or eligible to complete requirements.
• Sound clinical judgment in primary care, preventive care, and common chronic conditions.
• Ability to use electronic health records and complete clear clinical documentation.
• Strong communication skills and respectful approach to patients from varied circumstances.
• Willingness to participate in scheduled community outreach when required.

Responsibilities

About the role

KonsultaKa is seeking a physician to provide free continuous universal primary healthcare for patients that may or may not under the PhilHealth YAKAP program. The role includes clinic consultations and, when assigned, services through KonsultaKa On Wheels and teleconsultation in coordination with our fixed clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and review First Patient Encounters, assess health risks, and develop appropriate care plans.
• Provide consultations, preventive care, chronic disease management, patient education, and follow-up.
• Order or refer patients for appropriate laboratory tests and screening; make timely referrals for care beyond the clinic's scope.
• Prescribe medicines responsibly under the Gamot program and coordinate with the pharmacy team on availability and patient counselling.
• Complete accurate, timely electronic clinical records and YAKAP documentation, including information needed for continuity of care and claims review.
• Work closely with nurses, clinic assistants, pharmacists, and administrative staff while protecting patient privacy and informed consent.

About you

• Doctor of Medicine with a current Philippine PRC physician license.
• PhilHealth accreditation as a physician under YAKAP, or eligibility and willingness to complete the applicable accreditation and clinic affiliation requirements before providing covered services.
• Sound clinical judgment in primary care, preventive care, and common chronic conditions.
• Ability to use electronic health records and complete clear clinical documentation.
• Strong communication skills and a respectful approach to patients from varied circumstances.
• Willingness to participate in scheduled community outreach when required by the role.
• Experience in a primary care clinic or PhilHealth program is an advantage though not required.
