Job summary

apply is looking for a Project Manager to define project scope, create plans with milestones and dependencies, and ensure objectives are met. You will assemble a team, manage schedule, control costs, handle risks and changes, and report results for continuous improvement.

You will also coordinate stakeholders, communicate plans, and drive projects to successful completion in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of directly related experience.
• 2–4 years of related field with proven responsibilities and knowledge.
• Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in education and experience

Responsibilities

• Identifies project objectives, measurement criteria, and creates project plans with milestones and task dependencies.
• Identifies a team responsible for task completion.
• Manages projects to ensure objectives are achieved per criteria and measurement.
• Reports on results and lessons learned after project completion for continuous improvement.
• Identifies milestones and tasks, defines timelines for completion, and manages scheduling.
• Communicates project schedule and changes to all stakeholders to stay on track.
• Ensures costs align with the budget and manages the budget throughout the project life.
• Escalates issues, risks, and changes and secures approvals as needed.
• Acts as a point of escalation for issues affecting timelines and outcomes.
• Conducts meetings and conference calls with internal and external project teams.
• Participates in status meetings and represents the organization in major initiatives.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Project Scope/Management: Identifies and communicates project objectives, measurement criteria, and creates project plans, which include major project milestones and task dependencies.
• Identifies a team of individuals who will have accountability for task completion.
• Manages projects to ensure objectives are achieved according to measurement criteria.
• Upon project completion, reports on results and lessons learned, as applicable, for continuous improvement purposes.
• Project Scheduling: Identifies project milestones and tasks, including dependencies, and defines timelines needed for task accomplishment.
• Communicates project schedule to team members and has accountability for ensuring the project remains on schedule.
• Communicates schedule changes as needed to all stakeholders.
• Cost Management: Ensures project costs are in alignment with the project budget and manages the budget throughout the life of the project.
• Communicates to stakeholders potential cost increases and obtains the applicable level of approval for additional project costs prior to the occurrence of the event(s).
• Issue/risk/change management: Manages internal and external stakeholders through project changes.
• Acts as a point of escalation for team members when issues arise that have the potential to inhibit completion of project tasks in the defined timelines.
• Accountable for driving closure of all escalated issues either independently or through engagement of other stakeholders.
• Administrative: Conducts meetings, conference calls, etc. with internal and external project team members.
• Participates in status meetings and represents interests of their organization as it relates to the overall success of a division or external client initiative (i.e., NAS product rollout, client product implementation, technology rollout.)
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• 1 - 3 Years of directly related experience
• 2 - 4 years of experience in related field with proven successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge.
• Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in education and experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred by not required; however, an individual is expected to actively pursue achievement of a certification through the tenure with the role.
