Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• COSH Certificate is an advantage but not required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.
• 3+ years of relevant construction experience (commercial, residential, high-rise, mixed-use, fit-out).
• Knowledge of civil works, structural systems and electrical installations.
• Familiarity with safety standards, codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and supervise construction projects including commercial, residential, high-rise, mixed-use developments, and fit-out works.
• Oversee civil and structural works, ensuring compliance with plans, specs and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor daily construction activities for safety and schedule adherence.
• Review engineering drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and other disciplines.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, cost estimates, and documentation.
• Lead site teams, contractors and subcontractors to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement and operations teams.
• Implement and enforce occupational health and safety practices on-site.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents

• Identify and engineering and construction issues promptly
• Lead and manage site teams, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project efficiency and productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and operations
• Implement and enforce occupational health and safety practices on-site

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Combination of office-based work and onsite project supervision
• Monday to Saturday work schedule
• May require travel to various project locations
