Job summary

Geoscience Technologies, Inc. in Makati seeks a Civil Engineer to supervise daily site activities and ensure work aligns with approved plans, specs, and project requirements.

You will coordinate site manpower, equipment, materials, and progress, prepare reports, and contribute to design outputs and cost estimates. Fresh graduates are welcome; PRC license is optional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• With/without PRC license.
• At least 1 year of civil/structural project experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities per plans and specs.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and work progress.
• Ensure proper implementation of engineering works and procedures.
• Prepare daily and progress reports and other documentation.
• Create design drawings, methodologies, schedules, and calculations.
• Estimate costs and prepare bills of materials and quantities.
• Train project team members in civil/structural design.
• Perform other tasks as required by supervisor.

Job Description:

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure that work is performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.

• Coordinate and oversee site manpower, equipment, materials, and work activities, and conduct site inspections and verify actual site conditions, dimensions, locations, and work progress.

• Ensure proper implementation of engineering works and construction procedures.

• Monitor the quality and progress of work; report any deviations, issues, or site conditions requiring attention; and prepare daily site reports, progress reports, work accomplishment records, and other required documentation.

• Coordinate with the client, consultant, main contractor, subcontractors, and other project personnel regarding site activities.

• Responsible for the document creation, such as detailed design drawings, methodologies, schedules, fabrication drawings, calculations, and other deliverables, ensuring clarity, completeness, and quality in design output and compliance with project specifications, man-hour budget, and schedule

• Prepare and constantly review plans, construction drawings, cost estimates, and specifications before actual construction begins

• Estimate material, labor, or civil/structural costs for budget preparation

• Responsible for the creation of Bill of Materials, Bill of Quantities, and technical reports

• Performs site inspection/site survey before structural design to ensure that work will be in accordance with site conditions and specifications of the client

• Supervising or training project team members in relation to civil/structural design

• Perform other tasks as required by the immediate supervisor

Job Qualifications:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

• With/without PRC license

• at least 1 year of experience (preferred)

• Davao-based engineers are highly encouraged to apply.
