Job summary

TELECONVERGENCE INC. in Metro Manila is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with telecom tower construction experience to lead site design, costing, and project management. The role demands knowledge of tower standards, site acceptance criteria, and coordination with telco clients.

You will supervise site engineers and crews, review drawings, perform feasibility assessments, and ensure on-time delivery while managing budgets and stakeholder expectations across multiple sites nationwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from CHED-recognized institution.
• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC-registered), active license.
• Experience in telecom tower/site construction 3–5 years.
• Familiarity with tower structural standards (e.g., TIA-222) and site acceptance criteria.
• Experience working with telco clients or towercos and their documentation/compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Proven track record managing multiple concurrent cell site projects from mobilization to turnover.
• Skilled in project scheduling (Gantt charts, MS Project or similar tools).
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and client reporting requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders: telco/towerco clients, subcontractors, LGUs (permits), and barangay/community relations.
• Experience supervising site engineers, foremen, and construction crews (direct hires and subcontracted labor).
• Strong leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical trades).
• Conflict resolution skills for handling labor issues, subcontractor disputes, or community concerns at remote sites.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and site personnel.

Job description

Education & Licensure

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a CHED-recognized institution

• Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC-registered), active license

Telecom & Cell Site-Specific Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience specifically in telecom tower/cell site construction (CME and/or OSP works)

• Familiarity with tower structural standards (e.g., TIA-222) and telco-specific site acceptance criteria

• Experience working with major telco clients or towercos and their documentation/compliance requirements

Design & Technical Skills

• Structural design and analysis competence for tower foundations, equipment platforms, shelters, and access roads

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software

• Ability to review and prepare structural drawings, foundation designs, and site layout plans

• Knowledge of geotechnical considerations (soil bearing capacity, foundation types for varying terrain)

Survey Experience

• Hands - on experience in site survey (topographic survey, site acquisition survey, as - built survey)

• Familiarity with GPS/total station equipment and survey data processing

• Ability to conduct site feasibility assessments (access, terrain, soil conditions) prior to construction

Costing & Estimation

• Experience preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and detailed cost proposals for bids

• Knowledge of prevailing construction material and labor costs in relevant regions (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao)

• Ability to value-engineer designs to optimize cost without compromising structural integrity

• Experience with bid preparation and cost proposal submissions to telcos/towercos

Project Management
