Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Language Studies, Communication, IR, or related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin or other Chinese dialects and English/Filipino.
• Experience as interpreter/translator in corporate or manufacturing settings.
• Strong listening, memory, and note-taking skills.
• Knowledge of technical terms in eyewear production is an advantage.
• Certification in translation/interpretation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, calls, and events (Mandarin, Cantonese, or other dialects as required).
• Translate documents, contracts, and correspondence from Chinese to English/Filipino and vice versa.
• Ensure translations maintain accuracy, tone, and cultural context.
• Assist in cross-cultural communication, clarifying idioms, expressions, and cultural nuances.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Support HR, legal, and compliance teams in interpreting workplace policies and government requirements.
• Coordinate with external clients, suppliers, or government agencies when language support is needed.

About the role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time interpretation during meetings, calls, and events (Mandarin, Cantonese, or other dialects as required).
