Job Overview

We are looking for a versatile translator/interpreter to serve as a vital communication bridge within our company. In this role, you will facilitate seamless interaction between our Chinese management/heads, local Filipino employees, and external suppliers (both Chinese and Filipino). You will handle real-time interpretation for day-to-day operations and accurately translate business documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Multilingual Interpretation: Provide clear, real-time verbal interpretation during meetings, operational briefings, and daily interactions between Chinese management and Filipino staff.

• Supplier & Partner Coordination: Act as the main liaison for Chinese and Filipino suppliers regarding inquiries, orders, negotiations, and general business coordination.

• Document Translation: Translate business documents, emails, operational guidelines, contracts, reports, and company policies between Mandarin and English.

• Cross-Cultural Facilitation: Help align operational expectations, clear up misunderstandings, and bridge cultural gaps between management, employees, and external partners.

• Operational Support: Assist with administrative and operational tasks whenever language support or cross-cultural communication is needed.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

• Language Proficiency: Full fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Tagalog, and English (both written and spoken).

• Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and diplomatic communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with corporate heads, rank-and-file workers, and vendors.

• Cultural Competence: Deep understanding of both Chinese and Filipino workplace cultures to maintain positive working relationships.

• Experience: Prior experience as a translator, interpreter, or in a multilingual liaison role is an advantage.
