Qualifications

• Fluent in Chinese/Mandarin and English; Filipino communication skills are an advantage.
• Experience as Chinese Translator/Interpreter, preferably in construction/engineering.
• Knowledge of construction terminology is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to coordinate with multicultural teams under pressure.
• Willing to work on-site in Calamba, Laguna on a full-time schedule.

Role Description

The Chinese Translator will support construction projects in Calamba, Laguna, by facilitating clear communication between Chinese-speaking personnel, Filipino employees, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. This full-time, on-site role involves translating verbal and written communications between Chinese and English (or Filipino), including construction-related documents, instructions, and reports. The translator will assist Chinese engineers, managers, and staff during meetings, site inspections, toolbox meetings, and daily coordination activities. Additionally, the role involves assisting Chinese personnel with company, government, medical, and administrative transactions, as well as coordinating closely with Administration, Safety, and Project teams.
