Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and timely interpretation services between English and Chinese (Mandarin) during meetings, conferences, and daily business communications
• Translate written documents, emails, and correspondence between English and Chinese languages whilst maintaining the original meaning and tone
• Support management and staff in communicating with Chinese-speaking clients, suppliers, and partners
• Attend business meetings, negotiations, and presentations to provide interpretation services as required
• Assist with the preparation of translated materials, presentations, and documentation for business purposes
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive or proprietary business information
• Liaise between departments to ensure clear communication and understanding of company policies and procedures
• Support administrative functions related to international business operations and Chinese stakeholder engagement

About the role

We are seeking a Chinese Interpreter to join Jiemei (Philippines) Electronic Technology Inc. in Calamba City, Laguna on a full-time basis. This is a critical administrative support position that serves as a bridge between our Employees, Clients and Chinese Expats in English-Chinese speaking (Vice-versa) and document translating. As a Chinese Interpreter, you will play an essential role in facilitating clear communication across language barriers, ensuring that all parties understand each other accurately and completely. This position is vital to maintaining smooth operations, supporting business relationships, and enabling effective collaboration within our organization.
