Job summary

Natural9 Corporation is seeking a skilled Hotel Engineering Manager to lead the pre-opening phase of a new hotel. You will oversee the technical setup, test all MEP/HVAC/plumbing and fire safety systems, and coordinate contractor handovers to ensure a smooth launch.

You will recruit and train the engineering team, establish preventive maintenance programs, and ensure compliance with local safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hotel engineering management (pre-opening experience preferred).
• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Relevant local licenses/certifications in building safety, HVAC, or electrical systems.
• Can start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Oversee snags/punch lists, test all MEP, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems, and manage contractor handovers.
• Ensure all building systems satisfy local regulations, safety codes, and operational permits.
• Establish preventive maintenance programs, SOPs, warranty tracking, and spare parts inventory.
• Recruit, onboard, and train the engineering team on daily operations and emergency protocols.

About the role
