Job summary

Cevio Hotel Corporation is seeking a senior hotel engineering leader to drive pre-opening preparations, oversee MEP testing, and establish maintenance programs. You will recruit and train the engineering team, ensuring all systems meet safety and regulatory standards for a seamless launch.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in hotel engineering, relevant engineering qualifications, and be ready to start immediately in Tacloban or nearby.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hotel engineering management (pre-opening experience preferred)
• Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering
• Relevant local licenses/certifications in building safety, HVAC, or electrical systems
• Residing in Tacloban or nearby areas
• Can start immediately

Responsibilities

• Oversee snags/punch lists, test all MEP, HVAC, plumbing, and fire safety systems, and manage contractor handovers
• Ensure all building systems satisfy local regulations, safety codes, and operational permits
• Establish preventive maintenance programs, standard operating procedures, warranty tracking, and spare parts inventory
• Recruit, onboard, and train the engineering team on daily operations and emergency protocols

About the role

Leads the technical, mechanical, electrical, and facility setup prior to hotel launch. Responsible for equipment testing, commissioning, setting up maintenance programs, and hiring the engineering team.
