Job summary

Makati Shangri-La, Manila is seeking a Chef de Partie to uphold high standards in food preparation and hygiene within a luxury hotel setting. You will supervise kitchen staff in your section and assist with daily kitchen operations while maintaining a positive team relationship.

Fluency in English (and local language) and willingness to work shifts are essential, with experience in luxury restaurants or 5* hotels highly valued.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working in either a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel environment.
• Committed to serving food of the highest quality.
• A self-starter and a teamplayer.
• Communicates and writes with fluency in English (and local language).
• Willing to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the food preparation process in alignment with Shangri-La's service and hygiene standards.
• Ensure all Health and Safety standards and policies are followed correctly.
• Supervise and control the work of the kitchen personnel in your section.
• Assist with overseeing the daily operation of the kitchen.
• Maintain a close and positive relationship with the team.
• Support the Sous Chef on daily operation.
