CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST

Job Summary

The Channel Specialist plays a critical role in executing channel strategies, driving in-store execution, and ensuring the effective deployment of category and brand-building programs. This role supports the attainment of sales volume, revenue, and numeric distribution goals through data-backed insights, trade execution leadership, and cross-functional coordination with Sales, Category, and Merchandising teams.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales operations, trade marketing, or channel execution
• Strong analytical and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and data tools (Power BI a plus)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate across functions

Basic Job Responsibilities

1. Volume, Revenue, and Numeric Distribution

• Track and support the delivery of category volume and revenue targets
• Drive numeric distribution for key SKUs in priority stores based on strategic market coverage and outlet segmentation

2. In-Store Execution Excellence

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of the Perfect Store Program across multiple channels

3. Trade Investment Effectiveness

• Conduct quarterly promo evaluation with insights on scheme effectiveness, volume uplift, an incrementality

4. Engagement & Collaboration

• Maintain consistent cadence of project list alignment with assigned business unit
• Ensure 100% delivery of high-priority initiatives and tasks aligned with FY goals

5. Capability Building

• Co-lead and/or actively contribute to learning sessions (e.g., Talakayan), attend internal capability-building sessions, and document key learnings and insights
