Job summary

Talleco in Cebu City, Philippines, seeks a Cebu Manager, IT & Security to lead IT, Security, Help Desk, and related teams. You will partner with U.S.-based leadership to ensure reliable IT operations, strong cybersecurity practices, and effective service delivery.

The role requires technical leadership, operational excellence, and people management to support growth, maintain a secure environment, and develop high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years IT leadership or management experience.
• Experience leading technical teams in a multi-functional environment.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, systems administration, and end-user support.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and security controls.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing projects and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Cebu-based IT and Security team members.
• Establish performance expectations and conduct reviews.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.
• Promote collaboration across IT, Security, Development, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
• Manage attendance, scheduling, PTO approvals, and engagement initiatives.
• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including end-user support and systems administration.
• Ensure availability, reliability, and performance of IT systems and applications.
• Monitor service delivery metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Partner with leadership to prioritize projects and allocate resources.
• Support enterprise cybersecurity policies, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Assist with risk assessments and remediation efforts.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and security best practices.
• Maintain IT and security procedures, documentation, and governance.
• Support audits, compliance reviews, and security assessments.
• Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
