Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines seeks a Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Supervisor to lead the CDI team in a hybrid, night-shift environment at BGC, Taguig. You will ensure high-quality clinical documentation, regulatory compliance, and optimal reimbursement while partnering with physicians, coding, and revenue cycle stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BSN required with nursing licensure (PHRN or USRN).
• Minimum 2 years in inpatient CDI supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and MS-DRG.
• Experience with major EMR systems (Epic/Cerner/Meditech).
• Excellent English communication; leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop CDI specialists; manage onboarding and performance.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and metrics to meet SLAs and targets.
• Conduct audits and ensure ICD-10-CM/PCS and CDI best practices compliance.
• Collaborate with Coding, HIM, Revenue Integrity, Billing, and AR teams to reduce denials.
• Present KPIs and initiatives in leadership meetings; drive process improvements.
• Coordinate with IT to optimize CDI workflows and EMR tooling.
• Provide ongoing education on CDI standards and regulatory changes.
• Work with physicians and nurses to ensure complete, accurate clinical records.
• Help develop CDI policies and standard operating procedures.
