Job summary

Allianz Philippines seeks a Product Category Manager to lead strategy, portfolio growth, and lifecycle management for its product category. You will partner with IT, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and Legal to deliver initiatives that support business objectives and customer value.

You will drive end-to-end product development from ideation to launch, ensuring regulatory compliance, governance, and readiness, while maximizing portfolio performance and speed to market.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in product design, launch, and lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of insurance products (VUL, traditional, health).
• Experience navigating regulatory and governance processes (IC, internal approvals).
• Strategic & Commercial Capability - develop portfolio strategies and evaluate market opportunities.
• Leadership & Influence - influence stakeholders across functions without direct authority.
• Experience in pricing or actuarial collaboration.
• Exposure to system implementation lifecycle (UAT, requirements validation).
• Experience in portfolio management (repricing, optimization).
• Familiarity with Agile/Product Owner frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management with senior leadership exposure.
• Experience with AI-driven adaptive learning technologies and data analysis for personalized training.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for content recommendation, automated assessment, and feedback.

Responsibilities

• Category Strategy, Portfolio Growth & Product Roadmap Ownership: Define and execute strategy, prioritize growth, target segments, and roadmap initiatives.
• End-to-End Product Development & Delivery: Drive design, approvals, and delivery from ideation through launch with regulatory compliance.
• Cross-Functional Orchestration & Execution: Align IT, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, Distribution, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance.
• Governance, Risk, and Regulatory Compliance: 100% governance gates, complete documentation, timely submissions.
• Portfolio Performance & Lifecycle Management: Monitor performance and optimize portfolio value and profitability.
