Job summary

PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies is seeking an Insurance Product Manager in Manila to develop and manage life, non-life, HMO, and pre-need products. The role drives product feasibility, pricing strategies, and regulatory compliance across the portfolio.

You will oversee the end-to-end product cycle, coordinate with Sales for pricing, and lead multi-stakeholder reviews with insurers and internal teams to hit profitability targets. A four-year degree and 5 years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year course; an MBA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of insurance product development and management experience.
• Review service contracts and SLAs with internal and external partners.
• Develop product policies and procedures, such as pricing, discounts, and the approval matrix.
• Make sure Insurance Commission and partner reporting requirements are met.
• Resolve regulator and audit findings.
• Plan the department's programs, budget, and targets.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Review product feasibility and concept studies to create new products or improve existing ones
• Recommend product changes based on performance, pricing, and loss ratio metrics
• Work with Sales Channels on competitive pricing, bundling, and discount strategies
• Present product proposals to the CLIB Head and the Insurance Product Division Head
• Oversee the product cycle from concept and pilot testing to performance review
• Set profitability targets, and work with Sales on strategies and sales targets
• Lead regular product performance reviews and monitor for irregular or fraudulent transactions
• Prepare product training materials, and work with stakeholders on marketing campaigns, customer surveys
• Negotiate new and renewal insurance packages and coverage with insurance companies
• Hold regular business reviews with insurers
