About the role

MKS Workforce Management Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Cashier/Server to join our hospitality team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and managing financial transactions at our establishment. As a Cashier/Server, you will be the face of our business, responsible for creating memorable experiences for our guests whilst ensuring smooth operations and accurate cash handling. Your attention to detail, interpersonal skills, and efficiency will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our venue.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, seating them promptly and presenting menus with a welcoming demeanour
• Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen or bar staff in a timely manner
• Deliver food and beverages to tables with care, ensuring orders are correct and guests are satisfied
• Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Balance cash registers at the end of shifts and reconcile discrepancies promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining and service areas throughout shifts
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction
• Suggest menu items and beverage pairings to enhance the guest experience
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a cashier, server, or in a similar hospitality role
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Strong numerical and mathematical abilities for accurate cash handling and payment processing
• Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining composure under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English; Filipino language skills are advantageous
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and move around the workplace
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
• Food safety and hygiene certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred
