MKS Workforce Management Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated Cashier/Barista to join our hospitality team in Quezon City, Metro Manila.

In this full-time role, you will manage transactions, prepare beverages, and deliver excellent customer service, contributing to a fast-paced venue and guest satisfaction. You will greet customers, operate POS systems, maintain a clean station, monitor stock, and assist during peak hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as cashier or barista in hospitality or F&B.
• Strong POS operation and cash handling skills.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and train on skills.
• English and Filipino fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions accurately using POS and handle payments.

About the role

MKS Workforce Management Services Inc. is seeking a dedicated and personable Cashier/Barista to join our dynamic hospitality team in Quezon City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to work in the fast-paced bar and beverage industry. In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, responsible for managing transactions, preparing quality beverages, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your contributions will directly impact the guest experience and operational efficiency of our venue, making this a strategically important position within our hospitality operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handling cash, card payments, and other payment methods


• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, espresso-based drinks, cocktails, and other bar offerings in accordance with established recipes and company standards


• Maintain a clean and organised work station, including the cash register area, beverage preparation station, and surrounding customer spaces


• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide knowledgeable recommendations regarding menu items and beverages


• Monitor inventory levels of beverages, supplies, and materials, reporting shortages to management as needed


• Comply with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times


• Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction


• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during peak hours and busy periods


• Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and reconcile the till at the end of each shift


• Support promotional activities and special events as directed by management

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a cashier, barista, or in a similar customer-facing role within hospitality or food and beverage establishments


• Strong proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately


• Knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso techniques, and beverage service standards, or willingness to develop these skills through training


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner


• Physical stamina to work standing for extended periods and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment


• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation


• Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and managing cash drawers


• Reliability and punctuality with a flexible approach to scheduling, including potential weekend and evening shifts


• Certification in food and beverage handling or food safety is advantageous but not essential


• Fluency in English and Filipino languages is preferred
