Job summary

Tastewell Food Group Inc. in Laguna is seeking a branch operations leader to oversee manpower, machines, money and marketing across the store.

You will recruit and train staff, prepare shift schedules, monitor attendance and overtime, ensure health, grooming and sanitation standards, manage bank deposits and inventory, and implement promotions to raise sales. This role reports to the Operations Manager or Branch Area Manager and requires close collaboration with mall administration.

Qualifications

Job description

Reports directly to the OPERATIONS MANAGER or BRANCH AREA MANAGER

Main Responsibility:

1. Manpower

   1. Assists in recruiting and training of staff for his/her branch

   2. Recommends hiring of personnel for his/her branch

   3. Prepares shift schedules of each branch

   4. Checks attendance and punctuality of staff

   5. Monitors staff overtime and manages overtime cost

   6. Implements disciplinary action on erring staff

   7. Recommends rewards/incentives for outstanding staff

   8. Ensures compliance of staff to company policies and procedures

   9. Checks health and sanitation permits of staff

   10. Checks health, good grooming and personal hygiene of staff

2. Machines

   1. Reports maintenance requirements of branch premises to Operations Manager and/or Area Manager for proper and immediate action

   2. Ensures cleanliness and sanitation of premises

   3. Ensures that all facilities/equipment in each branch are in good working condition

   4. Ensures compliance of branch to BIR, City Hall and other government requirements

   5. Regularly checks signages (neon, lights, counter signages, menuboards)
      

1. Money & Materials

   1. Ensures accomplishment of sales and cost targets of branch

   2. Attends regular meetings with mall administration in the absence of operations/area manager

   3. Makes accurate bank deposits for his/her branch and ensures there are no cash shortages or losses

   4. Procures cash for change and makes sure that change fund for the day is adequate

   5. Prepares the daily inventory report and checks stocks inventories (daily, weekly and monthly) and ensures all items are accounted for

   6. Prepares order requisitions accurately and ensures availability of all items

   7. Checks food display and ensures these are up to standard

   8. Checks accuracy of daily cash flow reports

   9. Maintains communications and sales logbooks

1. Marketing & Promotions

   1. Suggests and implements marketing and promotions strategies to increase sales

   2. Prepares promotional tags, signs whenever necessary

   3. Makes sure that collaterals reflect correct pricing and that these are in good condition
