Job Purpose

Receive and disburse money in establishments other than financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Disbursement Process
  • Receiver of the AP vouchers, checks if AP vouchers are properly authorized.
  • Preparation of the check vouchers and checks.
  • Maker on the online banking disbursements.
  • Record the disbursement transactions in the company's accounting system Log-Sys.
  • Update the check monitoring file for every disbursement made.
  • Route checks to the authorized signatories.
  • Safe keeper of the treasury records related to disbursements.
• Petty Cash and Revolving Fund Procedures
  • Custodian, responsible for securing the petty cash fund.
  • Conduct cash count at the end of each day.
  • Validate requests for payment, and release cash documented by cash voucher.
  • Collate and file liquidated vouchers, subject for replenishment.
  • Prepare cash fund reimbursement form for petty cash replenishment.
• Treasury Reporting and Other Treasury Responsibilities
  • Prepare cash position report for the assigned bank accounts.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Technical Competencies

Familiar with financial software (QuickBooks, Logi-sys, SAP) and intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, MS Word).

Qualifications

Education

Experience

Experience of under one year in a related field is acceptable; fresh graduates may also be considered.
