Job summary

2GO Group in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment and forklifts, ensuring zero accidents and on-time cargo handling.

Responsibilities include lift-on/off operations for reefer vans, ISO tanks and dry containers, container stripping and stuffing, yard positioning, and basic preventive maintenance to sustain equipment availability. Prior 3–5 years in heavy equipment roles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operations experience.
• Holder of a vocational degree is preferred.
• Experience with lift-on/lift-off operations for cargo handled by reefer vans, ISO tanks, and dry containers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy equipment and forklifts with a focus on zero accidents.
• Perform lift-on and lift-off operations for reefer vans, ISO tanks and dry containers (inbound and outbound).
• Handle container stripping and stuffing per client requirements.
• Position reefer vans for PTI, repair, and maintenance to support availability; position ISO tanks for cleaning and maintenance.
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance checks and report issues and hazards, following safety standards.

You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and damage‑free handling of cargo using heavy equipment and forklifts. By operating equipment with precision and a zero‑accident focus, you’ll support smooth yard operations, maintain equipment availability, and help meet client requirements for reefer vans, ISO tanks, and dry containers.

What You’ll Do (your Mission)

• Heavy Equipment & Forklift Operations Safely operate heavy equipment and forklifts with a strong focus on zero accidents.
• Perform lift‑on and lift‑off operations for reefer vans, ISO tanks, and dry containers for both inbound and outbound cargo.
• Handle container stripping and stuffing activities based on client requirements.
• Equipment Positioning & Yard Support Position reefer vans for Pre‑Trip Inspection (PTI), repair, and maintenance to support availability and reliability targets; position ISO tanks for cleaning, repair, and maintenance in designated areas; support smooth yard flow by following proper handling and positioning procedures.
• Safety, Care & Preventive Maintenance Conduct basic preventive maintenance checks on heavy equipment prior to operation; report equipment issues, safety hazards, and irregularities immediately; comply with all safety standards, operating procedures, and site regulations.
