The Career Placement and Development Coordinator / Psychometrician is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing integrated, data-driven, and development-oriented career and employability programs within the Center for Student Affairs and Wellbeing (CSAW). The role supports the university's student welfare and outcomes framework by ensuring that students are equipped with the competencies, opportunities, and support systems necessary for successful transition from education to employment.
Monitor student and graduate employability, placement outcomes, and skills development programs through a structured graduate tracer system and employability tracking framework, ensuring alignment with institutional KPIs and CHED requirements
Assist and implement skills development and employability programs using standardized psychological and career assessment tools, ensuring all interventions are psychoeducational and non-clinical
Analyze labor market trends, industry demands, and employment data to inform program development, curriculum alignment support, and career readiness strategies
Conduct career orientation, employability training, and job readiness sessions, including digital career readiness
Assist and implement a structured, year-level career development framework to support progressive student transition from academic life to employment
Disseminate accurate and updated information on employment-related government requirements, ensuring students are prepared for workforce entry and compliance
Support and maintain partnerships with industry, government agencies, alumni, and private organizations to support internships, job placement, employer engagement, and career development initiatives
Manage internship monitoring and follow-up systems in compliance with CHED CMO No. 104 (SIPP), ensuring quality placement, proper documentation, and alignment with academic requirements
Prepare and maintain career placement reports, endorsement letters, internship documentation, and partnership records
Provide Psychological First Aid (PFA) for urgent student concerns within a strictly non-clinical, referral-based scope
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology
Preferably with experience in HR, recruitment, career services, training, or student development programs
Familiarity with labor market trends, internship systems, and employability frameworks
Knowledge of digital tools for career development and data analytics is an advantage
Psychological assessment administration and interpretation
