Job summary

Emapta is seeking a Capital Markets Analyst to convert market data and loan transactions into actionable decisions. You will gain exposure to the U.S. market and strengthen your capital markets expertise.

The role requires a finance-related degree with 1–3 years in capital markets, strong modeling, and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data tools. Night shifts and onsite work in Ortigas are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 1 to 3 years in capital markets or related finance roles.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Bloomberg, Reuters is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Management: Gather, process, and clean data from multiple sources.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends and insights.
• Reporting: Develop dashboards and present detailed reports with KPIs.
• Transaction Management: Handle loan purchase settlements end-to-end.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Master's degree or CFA designation, an advantage
• 1 to 3 years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related discipline
• Proficiency in financial modeling, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Bloomberg, Reuters, or other market data platforms, an advantage
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with excellent attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills with a critical and strategic mindset

Your Daily Tasks

Data Collection and Management

• Gather, process, and clean data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain databases and ensure secure and efficient data storage.

Data Analysis

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Apply statistical methods to interpret data and generate actionable recommendations.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify opportunities for business growth.

Reporting

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide stakeholder visibility.
• Prepare and present detailed reports that summarize findings and insights.
• Provide regular updates on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

Transaction Management

• Manage loan purchase settlement transactions from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with internal and external counterparties across process steps and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Collaboration

• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product, to understand data requirements and provide analytical support.
• Collaborate with IT and Data Engineering teams to enhance data infrastructure and processes.

Optimization

• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement data-driven strategies to enhance business performance.
• Monitor outcomes, evaluate effectiveness, and adjust strategies as needed.

Tool Proficiency

• Use Excel, Tableau, and other data analysis tools to analyze and interpret data.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging tools and technologies in data analytics.

Predictive Analytics

• Develop predictive models to forecast trends and outcomes.
• Apply machine learning techniques to strengthen predictive capabilities.
