Job summary

BE GROUNDED PTE. LTD. seeks a friendly Café Crew Member to join our team, helping with food and beverage preparation and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You will serve guests, handle inquiries, and ensure smooth daily café operations with a customer-focused approach.

Experience in F&B or hospitality is preferred, but willing-to-learn candidates are welcome. Training provided. Shifts start early, Monday to Friday, with weekend duties only for events.

We are looking for a team-player. Someone who is welcoming and customer-focused Café Crew Members / Assistants to join our team!

In this role, you will play a key part in creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving delicious food and beverages, and ensuring smooth daily café operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Food & Beverage Preparation: Prepare food and drinks with high focus on quality in accordance with café standards and hygiene guidelines.

• Customer Service: Welcome guests warmly, assist customers at POS counter when necessary and address customer inquiries with a positive attitude.

• Daily Operations: Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the whole shop. Assist with dishwashing, restocking supplies, and opening/closing duties.

• Teamwork: Work closely with team members to ensure prompt service and a seamless customer experience during peak hours.

Requirements

• Prior experience in F&B or hospitality is preferred, but willing-to-learn candidates with the right attitude are welcome to apply (training provided).

• Valid Food Safety / Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage.

• Able to work Monday to Friday from morning. Weekends will be required only when there is an event (OT to apply).

Shop Details

• Located in Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Novena.
• Closed on weekends. Open Monday - Friday, 7am to 5pm.
• Shift will be as early as 7am and latest to 6pm.
• Shop space is small, so cleanliness and tidiness is of priority.
• Highly friendly and energetic customer environment with over 90% of our customers daily regulars. Need a positive and friendly character.
