PHIL-TOP INDUSTRIES, INC. seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to support process improvements by monitoring production operations, identifying bottlenecks, and assisting in projects that boost productivity, quality, safety, material utilization and cost efficiency.
You will work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and other departments to implement changes that comply with quality, safety and company standards, ensuring efficient workflows and better utilization of resources.
About the role
To support the improvement of manufacturing processes by monitoring production operations, identifying process inefficiencies, and assisting in projects that improve productivity, quality, safety, material utilization and cost efficiency.
Key responsibilities
Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Assist in conducting time studies, process analysis and productivity assessments.
Assist in improving production methods, workflow, manpower utilization and machine efficiency.
Monitor material usage, production yield, and waste to help reduce material losses and production costs.
Assist in troubleshooting production process issues and implementing corrective actions.
Prepare process reports, flowcharts, work instructions and other engineering documents.
Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction projects.
Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and other departments in implementing process improvements.
Ensure that process improvements comply with quality, safety and company standards.
Competence Requirements:
Graduate of Manufacturing Engineering or any Engineering course.
With at least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Knowledge of process improvement and productivity improvement is an advantage.
